Growing up in California, I was surrounded by a kaleidoscope of influences, from the laid-back elegance of West Coast style to the rhythmic pulse of urban streetwear. Yet, it was the vibrant narratives of my African ancestry that truly ignited my creative passion. The vivid colors, intricate patterns, and profound symbolism inherent in African textiles inspire me to create collections that speak volumes about identity and expression. In each of my designs, I strive to honor both my American birthplace and African lineage, crafting wardrobe collections and custom pieces that are as expressive as they are artistic. I aim to celebrate the beauty of diversity, merging traditional African motifs with modern silhouettes to create garments that are not only fashion statements but also cultural dialogues. Through my work, I invite others to explore the intersection of these worlds, to appreciate the beauty in blending the old with the new, and to embrace the power of fashion as a form of storytelling. My journey as a designer is more than a pursuit of style; it is a celebration of heritage, an homage to my ancestors, and a testament to the limitless possibilities of cultural expression.

 

 

Despite getting accepted into one of the most prominent fashion schools in Los Angeles California and having to forfeit her spot due to lack of financial resources Corvette’s persistence and natural love and talent for the art of fashion lead her to obtain and exceed in her fashion education career at a more affordable college. After gaining credentials she began to sore lading positions with top celebrity designers and major fashion companies increasing her knowledge and experience. With all the new found experience and knowledge Corvette began to her own brand and gaining her own personal clientele. Designing and producing garments for entertainers, Brides, Cosplay enthusiasts and more. 

 

Key achievements and milestones in Corvette’s career include; New York and Los Angeles Fashion weeks shows. Being recognized and recorded by Getty images. Collaborations with many other designers or brands has proven quite successful with every collaboration selling out and gaining massive traction. Being featured in fashion magazines such as “A world of our own ”, and “Voyage LA”, as well as making appearances on The Melody Trice show, are just some outlets.

 

“Don’t waste recreate” is the design philosophy and creative vision. Make sure each vision is mindfully and ethically sourced and all craps will be recreated into a unique one of a kind piece. Inspired my luxury and minimalism and how it’s translated is at the vision board of every custom design. Her commitment to sustainability, innovative techniques, and cultural influences is the core approach to her fashion.
